Albin Nyamoya

Albin Nyamoya (27 July 1924–31 January 2001) was Prime Minister of Burundi from 6 April 1964 to 7 January 1965 and again from 15 July 1972 to 5 June 1973.

Nyamoya, an ethnic Tutsi from Ngozi province, was a member of the Union for National Progress (UPRONA) party. Albin Nyamoya died in January 2001 at Vyerwa, his home village shortly after the death of his wife Melania.
